Designed by English-trained New York City architect Francis Hatch Kimball, the twin Gothic skyscrapers of 111-115 Broadway are richly ornamented with limestone and an array of gargoyles.
The old Trinity Building at 111 Broadway was completed in 1905. But when the adjacent property at 115 Broadway was purchased to the north, ownership convinced the city to relocate Thames Street 28’, in order to provide wider floor plates. Both the Trinity Building and the US Reality Building were completed as they stand now in 1907.
